Line Scan Cameras: Line Rate and Line Height


Theoretically, a line scan camera can shoot infinitely, and by stitching, we can get an infinitely long image.

Infinite length means infinite size, such an image, such a volume of data, no computer can handle .

Therefore, in practice, it is necessary to intercept an image after every X rows are taken according to the application requirements.

The X lines are the line height, which is how many pixels "high" the image is.
