Do3think has just launched the DXL8K4M-H1N-F4 (DXL8K4M for short), a 20GigE dual-fiber 8 k line scan camera built for tight spaces and ultra-high-speed inspection. Its miniaturized mechanics, multi-line high line-rate sensor, pioneering TDI-based time-division stroboscopic lighting, and multi-channel flat-field correction deliver a reliable, high-efficiency imaging solution for demanding high-speed, high-precision applications.

At only 76 × 76 × 65 mm, the DXL8K4M highly integrated industrial design offers the smallest footprint in its class, giving vision-system builders a flexible, streamlined mounting solution.

Multi-line modes:
With 7 µm large pixels, the sensor captures nearly twice the light of typical 5 µm pixels. Coupled with the industry-first “TDI time-division stroboscopic + multi-channel flat-field correction” technology, the camera reduces the number of required stations while further boosting sensitivity, responsivity, and signal-to-noise ratio. Users can switch on the fly between 2-line and 4-line TDI modes to deliver bright, sharp, detail-rich images in high-speed, low-reflectivity, or low-light environments.
The matching high-performance FPGA frame-grabber eliminates data-transfer bottlenecks from the ground up, ensuring loss-free, ultra-fast transmission. By off-loading intensive pre-processing tasks from the host CPU, it slashes system load and keeps the main control system responsive even with massive data volumes.
On-board FPN correction, multi-channel flat-field correction, contrast enhancement and other professional ISP functions optimize image quality in real time.

Dual-fiber interfaces provide strong immunity to EMI and allow cable runs up to 300 m, eliminating the attenuation and interference issues of long copper links.

Total power consumption < 10 W minimizes thermal noise and simplifies thermal management. Continuous 24/7 operation is assured without bulky heat sinks.

The DXL8K4M is already deployed in lithium-battery coating, film/web inspection, PCB/ AOI, semiconductor, packaging & printing, and other surface-defect inspection applications.
